Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 25, 2026
We built Infera Compute so your data stays private. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and what happens to your data at every stage.
The short version
Your workload data never leaves our servers. We don't sell data. We don't use your data to train models. When you leave, we delete everything. That's it.
What we collect from website visitors
- Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and GDPR-compliant. No personal data is collected. No cookies are set. We see page views and referral sources — nothing more.
- Contact form: When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email, company (optional), and message. This goes directly to our team via encrypted channels. We use it only to respond to your inquiry.
- Chat widget: Conversations with our AI assistant are logged for quality and support purposes. Logs include your message content and IP address. No cookies are set.
What we collect from clients
- Account information: Name, email, company name, billing details. Stored in Stripe (our payment processor) and our internal records.
- Workload data: Whatever you run on our hardware — models, datasets, code, outputs. This is yours. We do not access, read, copy, or analyze it unless you explicitly ask us to (e.g., for support or setup help).
- Usage metrics: GPU utilization, CPU usage, memory, storage — for billing and capacity planning. No workload content is included.
- Access logs: SSH connection timestamps and source IPs for security and audit purposes.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell, share, or license your data to anyone
- We do not use your data to train or fine-tune any AI models (ours or anyone else's)
- We do not send your data to third-party APIs or cloud services
- We do not access your workload data without explicit written authorization
- We do not set tracking cookies or use third-party trackers
- We do not share your information with advertisers
Where your data lives
All client workload data is stored on physical servers owned and operated by Infera Compute LLC in Brooklyn, New York. Data does not leave our hardware. There is no cloud backup, no remote replication, no third-party storage provider.
Payment information is processed and stored by Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers.
Data isolation
Each client runs on dedicated hardware or in isolated containers with assigned GPU, CPU, and storage resources. Client workloads are physically or logically separated. One client cannot access another client's data, processes, or resources.
Data retention and deletion
- Active clients: Data is retained for the duration of your service.
- Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Chat logs: Retained for up to 6 months for quality review, then deleted.
- Offboarded clients: All workload data, models, configurations, and logs are wiped within 7 business days of service termination. We confirm deletion in writing.
Security
- SSH key-based authentication only — no passwords
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS for web, SSH for server access)
- fail2ban intrusion prevention on all servers
- No employee accesses client data without explicit written authorization
- Physical infrastructure in a controlled environment
A detailed security posture document is available on request for prospective clients.
HIPAA
We support HIPAA-compatible workflows and offer Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) for healthcare clients. Our architecture — dedicated hardware, no third-party data processing, full data isolation — is designed to support compliance requirements. Contact us for details.
Your rights
- Access: You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You can request corrections to inaccurate data.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your data at any time.
- Export: Active clients can export all their workload data at any time via SSH/SCP.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if anything changes. Material changes will be communicated directly to active clients via email.
